Gonna make my brown eyes blue.
Talk about reinventing yourself. Here is a photo of Katherine Harris when she was still a member of Jeb's cabinet. Note the lines, but focus on her vacant eyes. Now go to Harris' senate election web site. Hopefully the shot I want you see comes up immediately, but if not you may have to refresh the page or click on the home link a few times (I believe there are five photos that cycle through) until you get a relatively flattering shot of Harris showing off her bright blue eyes. Except, of course, her eyes are noticeably brown in her official cabinet photo. And check out her make-up in the cabinet photo. She was photoshopped my ass.
Yikes, like that had to be photoshopped? Scary on waaaay too many levels.

The thing that I've noticed is that she looks so pained when she tries to smile. Although I understand she was trying mighty hard when she did the titty show on Hannity & Colmes. My guess is that snarling, on the other hand, comes easily to her.

I think that little show Harris did on Hannity and Colmes should be shown with the Friday song Randy Rhodes plays on Air America Radio, called "Shake your Boobies" should be played, it would be hilarious. Check out Randi Rhodes website and you can click on and play it.

I wonder how much Botox it took to smooth out the forehead lines, too.

Mellie: I agree. You should send Randi a note. Bet they would have it up there in a heartbeat. And Kate, she probably has her dermatologist on speed dial for weekly touch ups. That earlier photo (which I assume was an official photo when she ws in Jeb's cabinet) makes it clear that 1) she has had work down since and 2) she didn't know the difference between a make-up brush and a paint brush back then. Christ, it looks like she used a roller to rouge her face.

In the older photo, why did she rouge her forehead?
Posted by: ArC | August 13, 2005 at 10:04 PM
ArC: Why indeed. Actually I recall hearing that some color could/should? be added to the forehead, but I think the aim was to add a hint of color. Apparently Harris complained that she did not use blue eye shadow (the photoshop comment), but I always thought the real problem was her uncontrolled use of rouge/blush.

I can't get over her sticking out her boobs on Fox. Not Hannity and Colmes - I mean her breasts.
What the hell..? It looked like a SNL skit.
And when she smiles..I just keep waiting for her to slip out of her skin ala the Lizards in "V", unhinge her jaw and swallow a medium sized ferret.
She is damn scary.

Waiting for her eyes to roll out of her head.

In that cabinet photo she looks as though she's sitting on something mighty sharp.
It's like it causes her physical pain to express an emotion other than rage or hate. I would hate to be her...or her kid, if she has any.

Thanks Felix. I finally learned how to do a screen grab. Now I just have to figure out how to post photos, then I will be set.

Going to her web site got me thinking. How much does it cost for her (or any) campaign to process these on-line donations?
The reason I ask, is that if people decided to all of a sudden send in donations of $1.00 (I just tried to donate 1 cent but it would only let me donate a dollar or more) would that be a drain on her finances, or is $1 sort of at least a breaking point?
Just a thought.

Use Firefox and select installation of DOM (Document Object Model) inspector. Should be included when checking "Developer Tools".
Go to any website, choose DOM inspector from the Tools menu, then choose Select element by click from arch menu of DOM inspector. Click on anything on the website and the DOM inspector will show you the properties of the selected HTML element inside a nice treeview of the page.
In this case, copy graphic URL.
Or you could just rightclick on the image for the context menu and select Copy image location. ;)
