Oh dear, looks like the UK is going to cut and run:
Britain to cut Iraq force to 2,500. The AP reports: Britain will withdraw nearly half the troops now serving in Iraq beginning next spring, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Monday, leaving a contingent of 2,500 soldiers in the highly unpopular war.
Brown told lawmakers the plan follows discussions with the Iraqi government and progress in Iraq's south.
Britain has around 5,000 troops based mainly at an air base camp on the fringe of the southern city of Basra.
At least we have Poland. Yep, those 900 Polish troops should be able to cover for the retreating Brits. Click the link to see the other members of the "Coalition of the Willing." Bulgaria, El Salvador and most of the former Soviet states, but not Russia. Impressive.
does the lone military guy from New Zealand count -- of COURSE!

And distributorcap, don't forget the one guy from Iceland who is assisting with, I dunno, something that doesn't involve carrying a gun. Pathetic. GMB
