Goddam motherfucking yellow dog corporatist taint lapper and scrote licker to the rich that he is. His ugly overpaid wife went to Penn, which is another reason (besides the fucking Wharton School) that i dislike the place.

Laughing too hard at JDM to come up with anything coherent. Not even the image of Greenspan and Mitchell getting horizontal can make me stop laughing.

...or in my case, stop puking.
Will anyone in government ever own up to their own stupid mistakes, bought-and-paid-for loyalties, and greed-motivated machinations? Nothing is ever anyone's fault, yet since 2001 we've been in a world of hurt unlike anything this country's known during its relatively brief life. It took almost 200 years for this country to rise to superpower status, and only 7 years for a few unprincipled assfucks to bring it all crashing down. Amazing.

JDM: I can't disagree with a thing you've written. I can only add the following: hahahahahahahahahahaha.
DCup: What makes JDM's rant funnier is that he's an alum (sorry for outing you JDM).
dguzman: Apparently Alan must be smarting since he's been identified by many people (i.e., those with more than two neurons and at least a scintilla of decency) as a prime cause of the crisis. Oh dear, there goes his reputation. If you read the article, you'll see that he was surprised that the lack of government regulation was so abused because he didn't think that the greedy bastards would kill their cash cow by overreaching. What a supreme, greedy, filthy motherfucking douchebag. GMB

@dguzman... What's happening now is no mistake. It's by design. Milton Friedman's design. This economic plunder in the name of privatization and free markets has been going since the 1950s.

I agree with you, Spartacus. And part of the plan is to encumber the treasury with the bill so that the next president (Obama) will have his hands tied. Fuck universal health care, Goldman Sachs needs our money. GMB

the only hope we have is if Obama throws out EVERY greenspan and bush related person
Posted by: distributorcap | October 24, 2008 at 07:24 AM
DCap: I think his hands are tied with Bernanke, no? Isn't that a 10 year term? In any event, Obama's team is going to have to look at every agency and purge the Bushies, from the top to the bottom. I've read that a bunch of middle management types tried to transfer over to the civil service part to save their sorry asses. If some succeeded, I would segregate their asses and make them leave of their own accord. GMB

This is Greenspan's punishment for pleasuring himself too many times while reading Ayn Rand.
Posted by: libhomo | October 25, 2008 at 01:01 PM
libhomo: I don't see how he is punished. He probably made his investments based on real information, not the shit he told us. Ok, the real punishment is having to sleep next to Andrea Mitchell every night. That works for me. GMB
