DCap: Melamine seems like nothing compared to steel contaminated with radioactive material. That can kill for generations. GMB

Libhomo: It isn't easy, but it isn't impossible. Food is now going to have to have the country of origin listed. The grocery stores near me already identify where the produce comes from. Most products have some country identification. But you are right, if China produced a component, we can't know unless and until manufacturers are required to identify all countries that contributed components. Still, I look and avoid the Made in China label. Surprisingly, some things are still made here. go figure. GMB

Mauigirl: I agree. 1) Did any of the steel make it out of the mill? 2) What will happen to the workers? 3) How in the hell could this happen? 4) Has it happened before? We will never know the answers. Now that is scary. GMB
