Today I was at the hospital (Mark had surgery) and was watching this on the news when two old women had a conversation within earshot. They both appeared to be in their 70's. They both thought that it was stupid to deny gay marriage. I wanted to go hug them!

Fran: I hope Mark is recovering well. And thank you for sharing your story. I think the very young and the very old are cool with gay marriage. The young don't see why it's a big deal. And the very old have lived through a lot and many of them become more live and let live as they matured. Well, that's my theory. Sending good wishes your way. GMB
