Vatican Cardinal Accused of Protecting Fugitive Priest [accused of raping two girls]. Yes, I am mocking the church's attempt to conflate the state of being gay with pedophilia. No doubt they do it because it's effective. Nice way to distract the (still) faithful. Until, that is, stories about girls being abused, like this one, start reaching the airwaves. So, is the church going to start making noises about purging heterosexual priests?
I must add that the only case I know of personally involving a priest who was too touchy-feely around youth involved a priest who was told by the Mother Superior that he would not be conducting chapel for students any more after the 12-14 year old girls at her school wrote to her to complain about Father Happy Hands' inappropriate behavior. Hey, you may be asking, the outcome in this tale was the right one....why? Why? Because the girls were smart and directed the letter to the Mother Superior and not the monsignor, that's why.
Bet he moved on to the Internal Affairs Division for Pedophiles at the Vatican, AKA the Priest Relocation Service. Mother Superior is probably wondering why her pension is so small. No more tax exemptions for religious giving of any sort, no more 501(c)(3) status for any faith. Jesus Christ, they fucked up a good thing, so fucking fuck them and their goddam enablers. That's one view of the (former) First Amendment. Fuck these fucking fucks. Phase it in, ya want - ya can start with the Presbyterians. They're small but rich and very guilty.

JDM: You know I agree about the tax exemption. I have to have some of my tax dollars used to subsidize sky god believers. If you want to believe, do it. But not on my dime. And keep it to yourself. Oi. GMB
