This could be the shot that finally kills the Murdochs' influence in the UK...and elsewhere:
Rupert Murdoch deemed 'not a fit person' to run international company. The committee couldn't say that Rupert knew for certain and directed the criminal acts at News of the World (i.e., phone and computer hacking), but it came damn close. The good news is this could (should) call News Corp's ownership interest in BSkyB in jeopardy--there is a requirement that the owners of media assets be "fit and proper" to own them. Apparently the potentially bigger issue is this: old Rupert wants to buy some media assets in China, but China appaently will not allow a buyer to do that if it is determined to be unfit in another country. This story just got a lot more interesting.
