And our welcome couldn't have been more perfect:
That's about 40 hard shell lobsters, caught that morning. Another 80 were cooked up after this batch was gone. My cousin cooked the lobsters in water he got from the salt water spring about 100 yards away--it was where our ancestors got salt water to produce their table salt. Heat up the water, drop in the lobsters, boil for 12 to 18 minutes, and then enjoy the best lobster you have ever tasted. No melted butter needed. Honestly, I don't think it can get any better.
I love Canada.

Amazing! I can't eat lobster, but even I can see that this is an embarrassment of riches.

Dr. Monkey: I do too. Beautiful place, really nice people. Nova Scotia was wonderful.
MDC: Trip is over--I'm back. The meal was hard to top, but a moose did run in front of the car. Man, they are big. And they don't run as much as stumble.
Maud: That is a fact. We left before the second batch was done, but I'm sure that nothing went to waste. Something about breaking up the lobsters with your hands and any tool you could find made the experience even better. Talk about your finger food--this was hand food.
Reamus: Oh, I did. GMB
